A longing to have wings and soar upon the wind singing the song of freedom? AGAIN! The Act of Perfection is an autobiographical, one act, one man quasi musical that takes the viewer on a journey, which could be anyone’s journey. Well, anyone that happens to have grown up as a closeted Catholic boy trying to find his place in the world. Utilizing a Greek chorus representing the various voices of influence along the way, a few backup dancers, and a musician; the script flows and dances as the coming of age story of a young gay man unfolds with the landscape shifting and expanding along the way.
